NOVA’s Point of Sale
Our Solution for replacing
Microsoft Dynamics RMS
“If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it!”
-W. Edwards Deming
8
Nova’s login screen will allow for
users to sign into the sales screen to
perform transactions for customers.
The manager’s screen is also easily
accessible, but only for users with the
correct access levels.
Login Screen
9
Employees will be able to login to the
sales screen by using a password or by
using our biometric fingerprint device.
Users can even be locked to only using
the fingerprint device to ensure
security and to prevent “buddy
punching”
Signing In
10
11
The sales screen is very
intuitive and user friendly,
providing employees with
simple to read icons.
To ring up the sale, employees
have the option to scan the
items or they can easily select
products from departments /
categories.
The Sales Screen: Ringing up a Sale
Adding Products to the Shopping Cart
12
Once items are scanned or selected, employees will
see the items enter into the cart.
There is no limit of how many products that can be
added to the shopping cart.
Items can be selected and employees can adjust
quantities to avoid have to scan each item one by
one.
If a customer wants to remove an item, the employee
will select the “x” to take out of the cart.
When lines get backed up and a
customer isn’t ready to pay, the
cashier can “freeze” the sale to then
open another tab to ring up the next
customer.
Once the original customer is ready,
the cashier will select the old tab and
complete the sale.
FreezingaSale
13
Example 1: If an email
campaign is sent out for 20% off,
the employee will scan the coupon
to apply the discount.
Example 2: For a preset 50%
off sale, all items added into the
cart will automatically receive the
50% off discount.
Discounting Items
Discounts and coupons can be applied automatically
or by scanning/selecting a coupon.
14
Completing The Sale
Employees can accept payment by the
following options:
Cash
Check
Credit Card (EMV)
Debit Card
Customers have the option of receiving
their receipt via printout or by email.
Email ensures the business collects the
email address for future promotions.
Employees can be given credit for sales
by selecting the clocked in users for
each location.
15
Gift cards can be sold and redeemed easily from the sales screen.
Once the value of the card is redeemed, the gift card will no longer be of use.
Gift cards can also be applied as store credit while performing refunds or exchanges.
Additional Payment Types
16
Adding Customers to the CRM
Customers can be added to Nova’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) feature
prior or during every sale.
If an employee forgets to ask the customer for their contact information, a screen will
prompt the employee as a reminder to collect this valuable data.
17
CRM Data/Customization
Once a customer has been added,
all of their data can be viewed and
tracked:
Total Sales
Number of visits
Last visit date
Shipping Address
Email
Phone number
Additional custom fields
18
Leave the Customer with a Business CardLeave the Customer with a Business Card
Customers are more likely to buy from
employees they like/feel connected to.
Instantly print our business cards
from receipt printer.
Allows any employee to write a note
to the customer in a more
professional way.

Increase Revenues
Improve Shopper Experience
Create Repeat Customers
Better Manage a Business
NOVA Point of Sale Benefits
20
Pricing, Sales, &
Promotions
Moving More Product
21
Negotiable Pricing Strategy
Give employees tools to upsell customers.
By using negotiable pricing, customers feel like they are getting a deal, while you sell more product.
22
Gift Card Strategy
Gift cards can be printed at the register – at
the point of purchase.
No need to buy gift cards; simply provide Gift
Card numbers to customers with no upfront
cost (and if they lose them, you can look them
up!)
When used in conjunction with Negotiable-
Priced items, gift cards can be given for free!
23
Coupons
Buy More; Pay Less!
Create coupons for specific products or categories
Offer coupons online that can be redeems in-store
Enable auto-coupons to provide discounts for packages
Track ROI for each coupon with Coupon Reports
24
Price Lists
Price list is a feature that easily
allows you to sell your products for
different prices depending on a
season, holiday, weekend or by
your choice.
Price lists can be
assigned per location
25
Create “Buy 3, get 1 Free”.
Create “Buy 3, get the lowest priced item
for 50% off”.
Kits can be assigned per region/market.
Kit/Products shown broken down on
receipt.
Sell more product by creating a kit, and
bundling products together.
26
Kits & Bundles

ordering more.
In Nova Alerts you can sign up to receive
an alert when your inventory reaches or
goes below the Minimum Capacity.
Full is the ideal amount you want in your inventory when you are fully stocked.
When re-ordering from your storage location through transfers or from your wholesaler in Automatic Purchase
Orders, Nova provides how many to order based off of your Full Capacity.
