CE Issue 6
Fourteen years ago, the local
Hyundai dealer in eastern N.C.
closed. Rob’s Hydraulics, a hydraulics
repair facility, immediately hired
several of the Hyundai trained service
technicians. As Hyundai customers
poured in to get their machines serviced,
Rob Lynch, the owner, quickly appreciated
the quality of Hyundai products. On
November 20, 2001, Rob’s Hydraulics, Inc.
officially became a Hyundai dealer.
In the years since, Rob’s Hydraulics has
continued to find that Hyundai machines are “quality built,” priced competitively, fuel
efficient, and great values. Their confidence in the Hyundai brand as “an industry
leading product backed by a solid warranty” has allowed them to thrive as a dealer.
Last year, Rob’s Hydraulics was named a Top 5 Dealer. They have consistently been
a top Hyundai dealer. They have also become the fastest growing equipment
dealer in North Carolina by expanding their market share with their excellent
sales of HL740TM-9A, HL757-9A, R60CR-9A, R160LC-9A, and R220LC-9A.
Additionally, Rob and his team have grown successfully from a single-
location dealership to a two-location dealership by "networking with
the current Hyundai owners, providing excellent support, service and
parts, and surrounding the dealership with loyal, hard-working employees."
HCEA and Rob’s Hydraulics, Inc. have built a wonderful partnership in the past 14 years, and
have truly grown together. Rob and his team have supported and represented Hyundai well in
all that they do, from participating in our recent PINK campaign, to providing their customers
with excellent customer service. Going forward, we hope to continue to grow and to conquer
the construction equipment market together, one machine at a time.
Thank you, Rob’s Hydraulics, for being a great Hyundai ambassador!

2. PINK Campaign = Success!
During the last two weeks of September and throughout October, Hyundai ran a PINK campaign in
an effort to raise money for breast cancer research through the sale of custom shirts and wristbands.
Our employees also participated in It's the Journey, Inc.'s 30-mile, 2-day walk with a B'Rest Stop.
This campaign was a huge success. In total, we sold 507 Construction Equipment and Forklift t-shirts
and 982 Hyundai wristbands, and raised $10,994.
Thank you to all of our employees, and our wonderful dealer network. Special thanks to May
Heavy Equipment, Rob's Hydraulics, Fort Wayne Material Handling, CFE Equipment, Four Seasons
Equipment, Team Boone, Springer Equipment, Heavy Equipment Sales, Pennell Forklift Services,
Modern Group, Bob Mark New Holland, and Diamond Equipment for providing their pictures, and for
their special support.
