This document summarizes reforms and initiatives by the Ministry of Regional Development of Ukraine to support decentralization. It shows that between 2014-2017, the share of local budgets increased from 51% to 49% of total budgets. It also outlines new educational spaces, healthcare centers, and administrative service centers created across various regions. Priority projects for 2018 include developing human resources and rural medicine, as well as draft laws aimed to strengthen and simplify the process of amalgamating hromadas or local communities. The national project of decentralization aims to transfer powers from national to local authorities.
