The Niger Delta Youth Employment Pathways (NDYEP) project aims to equip marginalized young people in Abia State with market-relevant skills through partnerships with local organizations, focusing on ICT, aquaculture, and construction. The project has successfully trained 140 youths, 77% of whom are either self-employed or in paid employment, and has established accountability mechanisms to ensure long-term outcomes for trainees. The integrated training curriculum combines technical and soft skills, fostering entrepreneurship and job placement opportunities within the region's SMEs.
