manufacturing, consulting roles and Professional Engineer certification. Knowledgeable in
environmental design and compliance in regards to water, air, wastewater treatment, landfills,
manufacturing and construction.

Professional Accomplishments
 Directed federal and state environmental compliance for a large scale, team based chemical
manufacturing industrial facility. Scoped, solicited and managed a $200,000 risk-based site
assessment for the facility.
 Developed and directed a multi-disciplinary team responsible for enhancing a manufacturing
facility’s environmental, health and safety incident investigation process.
 Ongoing compliance work regarding Maryland Stormwater Regulations, which included
stormwater best management practices (BMP) evaluation, environmental site design and BMP
inspection and maintenance plans. Cost estimated options for compliance.
 Served as environmental liaison for dam structure with responsibilities for writing scopes of
work with cost estimates for stability studies and maintenance, evaluating long term options,
and inspection liaison with officials.
 Completed Department of Defense Legacy Program proposal for shoreline protection which
included a design and cost estimate for a living shoreline.
 Managed project field work, including costs, contracts and personnel. Tasks included
groundwater sampling and analysis, proper closure of sampling wells and removal of PCB
contaminated soil.
 Sustainability advocacy initiatives such as writing ‘low-flow’ plumbing memorandum and
evaluation of water use at Aberdeen Proving Ground as part of NetZero Water Program.
 Established and led a team to complete the Wastetreatment Facility Request for Proposal (RFP)
for the Design Build contract for a hazardous waste site restoration project.
 Performed computer modeling and risk assessments for air, groundwater and soil media.
Received “On The Spot” award for thorough and timely report on the air quality at a proposed
disposal facility. Report included modeling of disposal basin and conclusions based on
statistical analysis.
 Summarily completed air permit applications for the construction and operation of hazardous
waste disposal facility.
 Negotiated air permits (including a Title V permit) and coordinated permit assessments and
emissions modeling for chemical manufacturing facility.
 Led cross-functional team initiating aninformation management system. Coordinated with
Argonne National Laboratory and multiple groups within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
for the creation and maintenance of internal and public web sites.
