PRODUCT & ARCHITECURAL FUNCTIONAL AREAS
• SCRUM & Agile Software development and Architectural Blueprint & Design involves Feature development &
integration of complex solutions. Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) involves qualifying foreign devices to operate
on Sprint’s Network, using unique credentials and mapping those credentials (Type Allocation Codes – TAC,
Electronic Serial Numbers – ESN, International Carrier Code ID - ICCID ) to valid SKUs in our systems to enable
branding, sales channel compensation, and new account activation.
• Service Order Codes – (SOC) activation of premium feature content for Sling television programming, and Amazon
subscription services. In some cases leveraging 3rd
party API interaction such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or
internal Web Services Gateway to enable services where billing and activation are managed in distributed
fashion.
• Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Lifecycle Management and Logistics in support of embedded vehicle Head Units.
Embedded HUs are Machine-to-Machine (M2M) devices that are subject to voice/data demands, leveraging
multi-technology wireless connectivity (UMTS, GSM, CDMA/LTE). These devices and SIM modules have strict
industrial and auto-grade operational requirements. My role has been to address SIM (eUICC w/ profile
switching & CSIM) and device specifications, platform requirements for SIM Lifecycle Management (GSMA), and
document a systems-level approach for domestic and international deployment.
• Device Activation and Provisioning pertains to how assembled wireless modules w/ embedded SIMs are
provisioned onto Wireless Networks and activate onto back office systems for billing and services. I have
supported the System Integration and Product Development for 3rd
party M2M mediation and billing platforms
to integrate with the IT Platform and Network nodes to support Over-the-Air (OTA) activation and profile
management of subscriber and device credentials.
• International Payment and Billing is subject to different regulatory, tariff, taxation, and Customer Proprietary
Network Information (CPNI) Rules. As Connected Vehicle deployments continues to deploy in broader regions of
the world, emphasis has been placed on cloud-based operation models, most effective preferred & alternative

2. payment methods, and billing solutions based on regions of operation. My role has been to investigate payment
and billing solutions regarding the aforementioned criteria.
• Request-for-Quotation (RFQ) and Product Description responses has increased w/ all major auto-OEMs as they
continue to seek greater opportunities for global vehicle deployments. As such, I have been involved in many
RFQ responses regarding network coverage and SIM management solutions. The OEMs include: Case New
Holland, Honda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Chrysler, Fiat, and Ford.
• 911 Emergency Call routing for North America and eCall for the European Union are federally mandated services
that apply to vehicle embedded wireless modules for Connected Vehicles. I supported Product Development for
an alternative solution whereby, customers are able to support emergency 911 calls from their vehicle, and
receive call-back from the appropriate (Public Safety Answering Point) PSAP having jurisdiction. The solution
involves a head-unit solution versus a network based approach. I am also involved in supporting an alternative
approach to direct PSAP routing, which utilizes a Call Center to filter the 911 traffic for appropriate EMD
(Emergency Medical Dispatch). Lastly, regarding eCall, I support the product specifications for hardware and
network implementations.
• Concierge Services and Personal Assistants for Connected Vehicle fill a potential technology and demographic gap
that allows auto-OEMs opportunities to bridge communication w/ customers while allowing the customer access
to conveniences and services. Implementation of voice-activated personal assistants also serves as a driver
distraction aid, while promoting greater movement of customer profile information from one ecosystem to
another. I have supported competitive analysis and research regarding mobile device protocols, voice
recognition, and integration of call center models as it pertains to subscriber registration, vehicle service, and
overall customer experience.

and deployment of a CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) small cell base station
Senior Network Design Engineer (Wireless – Network Interoperability Specification)
• I was nominated and held President and Vice President Leadership roles for the Motorola
CDMA Users Group for North America, the goal being to lead efforts regarding the
Technology Roadmap and implementation of RAN (Radio Access Network) features.
Program Manager (Network Evolution & Transport Planning)
• I provided vendor and program/project management responsibilities focusing on the
evolution of telecom switching and transport technologies. This effort supported the
build-out of new cellular technologies to improve data speeds and access for customers.
