North Hudson Community Action Corporation provides a range of social services to low-income families in Hudson County, including healthcare, education, housing assistance, and job placement. The organization conducted market research through a SWOT analysis, finding strengths in its large client base and locations, but weaknesses in outdated technology and grant-based funding. The target demographic is undocumented immigrants, the underinsured, and the unemployed/underemployed, with over 139,000 uninsured individuals and 40,000 unemployed in Hudson County. The organization plans to increase awareness through community events and social media, expand client services through emergency room referrals and information sessions, and pursue partnerships and sponsorships to develop new funding.
