Conclusion
African kings were not totally involved into slavery at will but were
highly influenced by the supply of guns by Europeans and African could
do little to stop it. 12 million Africans were sold in less than 400 years
Between 1672 and 1713, Royal African Company headed by Charles II
of England bought 125,000 captives on the African coast. 20 percent
died while in route to the Americas.
Friererich Hegel, a great philosopher once said about Africa, ”This is
the land where men are children. A land lying beyound the daylight of
self-conscious history and enveloped in black color of the night. At this
point, let us forget Africa for Africa is no historical part of the world”.
