This Monday I will arrive back from what I can only describe as a ADVISORY
magical and amazing wedding I have ever taken part in. On behalf of PROGRAM

OUR INTERNATIONAL SERVICE
AN UPDATE ON VAN FOR ST. PETER’S JUNIOR SCHOOL NORTHERN UGANDA
As you know the target for this project was $18,000 with up to $9,000 promised by way of a matching
donation from the David Henning Memorial Foundation.
As at 14 July donations total $6,769, still $2,231 short of the target.

Report for today's meeting;
David Ross opened the meeting on behalf of Barry Antees who is attending the Wedding of the Year.
Welcomes were made to Hugh Murray, his mother Sharon & father Andrew
Toast to the Rotary Club of Singapore founded in 1930 and have some excellent publications for people lacking in
humour.

Joy had mail !
Northcott Newsletter and Invitation for the 10th Anniversary of a Rotaract Club in the Mountains
Johnny has received correspondence regarding a Community RI Award, for clubs that perform projects in 3 out of
the 6 areas of Rotary, therefore if our or other clubs tick each box there is a special award presented. Johnny will
circulate more details once he locates the letter.
Mark had nothing to report
David spoke about the International application for a GSE Team Leader and encouraged members to apply, also
there are applications for 2 members to go to Finland.The International Convention is on in Bangkok and is
sponsored by the Government so is competitively priced dates to come, and District Conference is in Penrith 23-
25th March 2012 with an Expo attached to it this year.
Keith advised that subscriptions are now due.
We had a fantastic address by Hugh Murray, sorry my report lacks details of this talk as I didn't write anything
down as the talk was enthralling, Hugh is an amazing talent (not average to say the least) he looked to have got
allot out of the RYPEN weekend and expressed Gratitude to Mark Cadman for the nomination and our club for the
opportunity, a program as Sharon & Andrew Murray said would have a lasting impact on their son.
Mark & Karen's overseas exposé's were explored great content, overview and congratulations to them both on
the birth of their granddaughter Ivy Jane.
