CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS
~ Provide clients with periodical reviews and returns of their accounts while reviewing their
changing goals, risk tolerance and their time horizons.
~ Maintain clients account by managing contributions to their registered plans, TFSA’s, RRSP’s,
and RESP’s to ensure the client’s maximum benefits by periodic payments or timed direct
payment options. Provide clients with tax information and slips in a timely manner.
2. ~ Retirement planning for early and typical retirement. Managing the RRIF accounts for income
stream to establish payments to the clients while trying to maintain reasonable payments so not
to raise taxes payable. Transfer pension plans to locked-in RRSP’s and unlocking them to create
income and savings before and during retirement. Transfer some portion of pension income into
TFSA’s to have tax free gains on returns, dividends, and interest payments.
~ Estate planning by always specifying a beneficiary for registered plans. Open joint accounts with
right of survivorship for simplicity and to avoid probate. Opening and maintain individual and
family trust. Work with executors and lawyers with legal paperwork, setting up of estate
accounts, selling and distributing proceeds to beneficiaries.
~ Tax planning for clients by determining RRSP contributions levels and review of future earning
and tax return assessments. Calculate clients RRIF payments and pensions to reduce taxation
levels. Maintain RESP contributions to maximize government grants and maximize earnings.
Selling underperforming stocks to take advantage of capital losses to reduce any capital gains
and participating in flow through issues to take tax write offs.
SALES AND MARKETING
~ Maintain client contact list and send out periodical research and earnings on companies or
sectors that clients own.
~ Participate in prospectus offering and solicit client orders after reviewing client objectives and
risk tolerance for suitability and time horizon. Inform clients as to the benefits to the purchase
while inform of the potential risk and providing the preliminary prospectus.
~ Work with issuers, lawyers, and corporate finance to facilitate private placements, non- brokered
private placements, capital pools and IPO’s to raise capital. Place the stock with accredited
investors who are clients and with people on the president’s list and employees.
~ Rebalance client accounts to take profits and selling stocks to control concentrations levels while
maintaining client objectives and finding new attractive investment opportunities.
