This will provide access to release notes and documentation and also to test
cases that will walk you through the process.

6. The SAP Net Weaver Business Client uses the same role structure as the user
menus in SAP ERP. These are maintained using transaction PFCG. Each page
is a web dynpro application built either using page builder (entry page) or floor
plan manager (other applications).
These makes it easy to combine the new applications with your existing
transactions and reports in SAP ERP.

7. Each role is shown in the top level navigation. These roles correspond to the
top-level folders if you are used to working with user menus in SAP ERP.
The entry page is built using page builder and can be configured using the
icons in the top right hand corner of the page.

8. To check the delivered role for project planning, choose transaction PFCG and
ten enter the role SAP_CO_PROJECT_PLANNER.
As you explore the role entries, right click on the application names to see the
technical name of the web dynpro application.
If you have developer authorization, you can view details of this web dynpro
application using transaction SE80.

9. The user menus are rendered in SAP Net Weaver Business Client as roles
along the top level navigation. The folder structure corresponds to the
navigation structure on the left of the screen in the NWBC.

10. To find the url to enter when connecting to SAP NWBC, call up transaction
NWBC in SAP ERP. This will start NWBC in your browser. Copy the url and
enter thaat part of the url up to and including /nwbc in the url box shown above.
The user and client you enter should be the same as for SAP ERP (no extra
user maintenance).

The Operational Data Provider (ODP) expose transaction and master data
including their associations to the analytic query (->transient provider).
The analytic query is the interface to all analytic clients.
Data are either retrieved directly from the database via Data Sources (“direct
access”) or read from BWA.
Data provisioning both for Search and Analytics in a common modeling
environment ensures creation of appropriate BWA indices without additional
effort.
