Satara, Patan and Jawali. The climatic condition and topography is similar to
that of Pachgani / Mahabaleshwar. The region has many plateaus some are situated
at 3600 ft above sea level. Average rainfall is 5000 mm. Krishna and Koyana are
the main rivers. River Tarali and Krishna emerges from eastern part of
Mahabaleshwar. Thoseghar waterfall is the most picturesque amongst them. The
beautiful riverfront of Koyana and majestic hill backdrop has endowed this
region with heavenly beauty. The area also has a picturesque view of backwaters,
windmills, tributary rivers like Solashi, Kandati and Urmodi which flow in this
