Empowering the underprivileged
To bridge the societal gap by
providing quality education to the
under-privileged.
We work with under-priviledged
children of the neighbouring areas
of NSIT, educating and mentoring
them for a better future, for both
themselves and our own country.
‘The Neighbourhood Project' has touched upon many lives in the
past and will continue to do so in the near future! It is started
with an aim to help those around us, who need our help and are
not as fortunate as we our.
The MINI LIBRARY has been started for children from
construction sites in NSIT campus to impart knowledge.
A place where primary-
level books and toys are
housed for the
underprivileged children-
who so rightly deserve
them but have
always been deprived of
them.
The Mini Library is
presently involved in
teaching Maths, Science
and Computers to the
children of ANUGRAH
FOUNDATION,an NGO
in Dwarka.
• KRITI, an annual fest of Neighbourhood Project,
NSIT Dwarka that is organized every year in April and
provides a wonderful interaction platform for the kids
studying in non formal schools, and to take part in various
competitions. KRITI is also a place when the participating
NGO’s get to network, discuss and collaborate together on
various social issues gripping our society today. It acts as
an channel to know, understand and participate in the
process of nation building.
• More than 50 NGOs participated this year showing great
enthusiasm.
