Our unique approach has earned us the chance to enrol
over 200 displaced and improvised children to schools within their community.
We leveraged on a smarter way to encourage education in the penultimate year of 2018 by launching our EduTech program where YSC initiated learning with the use of smart devices. This program had positively impacted over 500 children.
With help of our sponsors and mentors, we provided relief resources to 400 internally displaced children.

2. WHO WE ARE
It’s 12:50pm, some minutes into lunch break.
Looking at the window in your office, you see
children within the age of 4 – 12 years old on the
streets hawking, begging and scavenging for
food, money to live by.
Lost in thought, you lookback at your childhood
grateful for the resources you had growing up.
This empathy and selflessness birthed YSC in
2016.
Today, we are a registered Non-Governmental
Organization empowering the lives of children in
local communities thus creating equal
opportunities for them to thrive.
3. WHAT DO WE DO?
YSC’s goal has always been warming her way into the heart of
deprived rural communities. This essentially creates a soft
landing to communicate our purpose. This unique method of
ours, has earned us the chance to enroll over 200 displaced
and improvised children to schools within their community.
In line with the dynamics of the 21st century, we leveraged on
a smarter way to encourage education in the penultimate
year of 2018 by launching our EduTech program where YSC
initiated learning with the use of smart devices. This program
had positively impacted over 500 children.
With help of our sponsors and mentors, we provide relief
resources to 400 internally displaced children.
4. WHY YSC
It is our understanding that a desire for a better world
has to start with proper grass-root orientation. Our
sincere love for children at Young Shapers Club has
given us an enormous responsibility to make the world
around us better for future generations to come.
Our track record of school intakes and educational
resources distributed through our outreach programs
clearly exemplifies our zeal to eradicating poverty
through one child, one school, one book at a time.
Over 1.4million children are displaced in Nigeria and 69%
of those with families are living below the poverty line. This data
accounts for a large proportion of children out of school.
