monitoring- Lipsync out, Glitches, RGB & Gamut errors.
 Monitoring all server links related with Uplink & Downlink as well as on – Air or off – Air

Description:
 India’s first HITS (Headend In The Sky) project which is a multichannel downlinking
from different broadcaster, distribution and transmission technology that enables all
FTA & Pay channels to be downlinked at a central facility and then again be uplinked
to IS 902. This HITS is going to feed thousands of Cable operators all over India part
of digitization process.
Job Responsibilities:
 Main responsibility is to monitor network operations of DTN (Direct TO Network)
project, encoder management and configuration, creating CR and SR, to keep all data
update via KDB and making daily reports of what’s happening in NOC.
 Troubleshooting of services through VLPRO NMS tool.
 Monitor all open incidents and apply appropriate escalation process as necessary.
 Ensure allocation of the correct severity level to incidents as defined within the SLA.
 Operational knowledge of Transmod GSS.
 Knowledge of PSI/SI tables, MPEG, IPTV and DVB standards.
 Checking and troubleshooting Audio/Video signal and EPG of every service.
