This document outlines the key assessments and data collection plan for an early childhood education program. It includes 6 standards that are assessed through various courses and projects. Formative and summative assessments are used to evaluate students' understanding of child development, building family relationships, observing and assessing children, using effective teaching approaches, developing curricula, and becoming a professional. Key assessments like classroom observations, child studies, teaching skills reflections, and philosophy papers are collected a minimum of 3 times for each standard through 8 core courses at the introductory, intermediate, and application levels. The goal is to formally collect data on each assessment across multiple courses to track student learning and skill acquisition.
