The Latest Status of CE Workgroup Shared Embedded Linux Distribution Project
The CE workgroup of Linux Foundation has started a project to share the work of maintaining long-term support for an embedded distribution, by leveraging the work of the Debian and Debian LTS project. Debian gives you pre-compiled binary packages but the meta-debian layer enables to install customized packages to create similar or smaller images. If both usecases are able to share the source code, it is good to share the maintenance effort.
In this talk, Yoshitake will describe the details of meta-debian which provides a meta layer for the Poky build system. This talk will to gives the latest status, technical details and lessons learned from its development.
All source code are available on GitHub and related document also available on Github and elinux wiki.

What’s new in DotNetNuke 6.2
DotNetNuke 6.2 introduces new social networking and service layer features. The main new features are integrated social networking through the ActiveSocial module, including a journal module for status updates, a member directory, social groups, and messaging. It also includes a new MVC-based service layer API for building services and accessing data without page refreshes. These features will allow building of socially-aware applications and pairing of web/mobile apps for DotNetNuke. The release schedule includes CTP, beta, and RTM versions throughout 2012.
OpenStack Glance Project Update

Contributor numbers grew for the Ocata release but declined after budget cuts impacted the core reviewer team. Cross Site Collection Navigation

Making Radiology AI Models more robust: Federated Learning and other Approaches
Daniel Rubin discusses approaches for making AI models more robust by accessing larger amounts of medical image data. Centralized data pooling is challenging due to data sharing barriers. Federated learning, which trains models across sites without sharing patient data, is presented as an alternative. However, federated learning requires common data standards for image annotations. The talk explores existing annotation standards and tools that could enable federated learning to leverage multi-institutional medical image data for developing more generalizable AI models.

Medical Segmentation Decathalon
The Medical Segmentation Decathlon provides a benchmark for evaluating the generalizability of semantic segmentation algorithms across a variety of anatomical structures and imaging modalities. The Decathlon includes 10 segmentation tasks with over 2,600 unique patient datasets. In Phase 1 of the challenge, participants developed algorithms to segment the structures and submitted results for evaluation. The top performing methods for each task are identified based on Dice scores and boundary accuracy metrics. Phase 2 will involve applying the previously developed algorithms to new datasets without modifications, to further evaluate generalizability.

The Arkansas Image Enterprise System (ARIES) is an instance of PRISM that integrates imaging, clinical, and cognitive data from three Parkinson's disease cohorts. Semantic representation allows linking image volumes to cognitive assessments across cohorts. Ongoing work expands data integration and develops semantic query tools.

The CPTAC lung adenocarcinoma proteomics/clinical discovery cohort data is now available. An upcoming Community Call will discuss the CPTAC program and data access policies. Multiple TCIA datasets were used in an AI cancer detection paper covered by major media outlets. A paper also discussed vulnerabilities in radiomic signature development using the NSCLC dataset. The NBIA data portal was updated with species selection and automatic inclusion of annotation files.

NBIA Community Edition and Branding • History – For the past year and a half the NBIA developers have focused on the TCIA branded version of NBIA • Faster release cycles • DevOps deployment and deployment strategy • Tier 3 support for TCIA help desk – The 6.4 version that was released to the community has not been changed

NBIA Community Edition and Branding • Why a separate release from TCIA? – TCIA contains some copyrighted content – There are some very TCIA specific aspects of the software – Would not want TCIA “clones” that are not TCIA governed. • Why is a new release needed? – Requests from community adopters – Internal NCI needs – Ability to update NCI demonstration site due to policy changes and security threats • Why Community Edition? – Name describes the software can be adopted and customized by the community

Community Edition Branding • The major task was to create a non-TCIA version of the software that incorporated all the enhancements and fixes that have occurred since 2016 – The solution needed to be flexible enough to allow the new fixes and improvements in the TCIA git repository to be easily pulled into the community repository – Need to be able to exclude TCIA specific and controlled branding from the community repository – Enhancement was to have a solution that would allow adopters to add their own branding to the software
