NAVIGATE CHANGE presents new global approaches to public procurement. This guidebook provides guidance to business leaders in small- or medium-sized companies to understand some of the major changes taking place in international public sector markets. This document discusses disruption in TV advertising and how to adapt. It notes that digital and social media have disrupted traditional media environments. Statistics show a decline in newspaper, magazine and TV advertising spending between 2007-2012, with internet advertising spending increasing dramatically. While scheduled TV programming still attracts large audiences, consumption of TV content is shifting to on-demand viewing on computers and mobile devices. The future of TV advertising requires adapting to these changes in media consumption.
This report presents the results of a benchmark study that compares the circular business practices of 52 large Dutch listed companies. On average, companies scored 28% with 12 companies scoring over 50%. BAM Group led with an 84% score. The study found that over half of companies have integrated circular thinking into strategy and set targets, but less than a quarter have implemented circular business models. Most common circular practices were reducing waste in production and substituting unsustainable materials. Few companies extended product lifespan or contributed to upcycling. The report provides recommendations for companies to improve and for investors to facilitate knowledge sharing and integrate circular thinking.

Public awareness and feedback – Insights from the SmartH2O project SmartH2O

Net Zero Pakistan launches a project called BioVentures that aims to establish a large-scale biomass supply chain in Pakistan. Currently 3.6-5 million tonnes of crop residues are burned in fields annually, while industries struggle to find alternatives to coal and gas. BioVentures will create a centralized facility to procure biomass from crop waste like rice husk and wheat straw to supply industries, replacing carbon-intensive fuels. An initial $100,000 investment will fund a feasibility study to assess the technical and commercial viability, with the goal of reducing emissions by 15 million tonnes over 10 years.

procurement decision-making processes but how to do it.
