foundation and its super structure is constructed with

DESIGN CONCEPT :
The Fortis Hospital is a modern, technical building with
contemporary conveniences. The design is also a revival
of traditional local Indian materials with a recognition
of local social customs, and an exploration of
sustainable ecological design striving to reduce its
impact on the environme
ELEVATION FEATURES :
••Simple facade with cubical form of out look. ••Plastered
finish 2 projecting out yellow sandstone massing.
••Horizontal and vertical bands of same are used as
highlighters in all three main entrance
SECTIONAL DETAILS :MATERIALS :
The construction materials used are concrete blocks
for walls, iron rods for the reinforcement and glass for
the windows. It's finishing is done with plaster of Paris
for the outer surface of the walls. All the finishes are
done soft to give a pleasing appearance. Flooring is
done by the non slippery material like wood flooring,
vinyl flooring.Thermocal ceilings are used in the wards
and some of the rooms with the oxygen and, electrical
and fire safety inputs.It has column beam structure.

5. CIRCULATION:
Circulation which is classified as horizontal and vertical circulation
that can be defined as.
VERTICAL CIRCULATION:

• This hospital has two staircase Lobbies
• All staircases in hospital is 1.8 m wide
enclosed in wall provided with fire
resistant doors .
• The minimum width of a staircase
other than a fire escape shall be .
