The Town of Nanton had issues with algae blooms in their stormwater pond. They contacted Advanced Water Technologies who recommended using ComboPacks, which contain EcoSocks and PondPerfect. We have not tried any other
product in the pond; we haven’t
had to. The residents here, in the
few buildings along the back side of
the pond, think this is their pond,
and they take a huge amount of
pride and a lot of responsibility
with the pond.
So, when we did start having that
problem with algae blooms, there
were quite a few complaints, but
more concerns than complaints.
They wanted to make sure they kept the nature of the pond, make sure that the ducks and
everything have a place to hang out, so they wanted us to find a solution.
So, I think we found a really good solution, and we are going continue to use the ComboPacks.
