The National Association of Diabetes Centres (NADC) was established in 1994 to improve diabetes care standards through specialist centres. It aims to promote collaboration between centres, link providers, collect data to improve care, and help centres maintain excellence. There are currently 98 NADC member centres in Australia, including Tertiary Diabetes Centres, Diabetes Care Centres, and Affiliate Centres. Key NADC activities include the Australian National Diabetes Audit, Best Practice in Diabetes Centres meetings, and a diabetes management training program.
