Nadan Parippu Thakali Curry
Ingredients
100 gms Toor Dal
75 gms Onion Chopped finely
125 gms Tomato Chopped
10 gms Crushed Red Chili
15 gms Fresh GreenChili slit lengthwise
3 gms Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste
A Sprrig of Curry leaf
3 gms Mustard seeds
15 gms Coconut Oil
Procedure
Cook the dal with sufficient water , salt and turmeric powder, until
mashy and done.
In a frying pan , add coconut oil add mustard seeds curry leaves ,
Chopped onions, tomatoes , chili flakes and green chilies and sauté until
the colour of the onion changes.
Add this to the mashed dal. Bring it to boil.
Remove from heat and serve Naadan Parippu Thakkali Curry hot with
rice.
