  1. http://www.nielsen.com/us/en/insights/news/2014/mobile-millennials-over-85-percent-of-generation-y-owns-smartphones.html Fairs need to attract youth – they re nearly all using smartphones. However, nearly 50% of those 65+ have smartphones!
  2. A demo is not a bad idea but the focus here is more on the ability to deliver an app + website that talk to each other and stay in sync. Furthermore, the website is responsive … it adapts to the screen size. An easy way to show that is to resize your browser window and images resize and the menu ends up collapsing. Note that in this case, the customer chose to have the app only for the fair itself while the website covers the fair as well as the Essa Agriplex where the fair takes place. The website costs $4,900 for year 1 and $2,400 for following years which includes support and hosting.
  3. Russell Fair, Old Home Week PEI, Strathmore Stampede, Barrie Fair, Vermilion AG Society, Richmond Fair, Lloydminster Exhibition, Norfolk Country
  4. I recommend switching to ipad and doing a demo of the app and state that this is an example of an that uses The Basics package. It has a great FrameItCam. I would then switch to the CMS and show how the app comes together with focus on home page background, buttons, events … State that since the app can change over time, it can be used for year round events.
  5. Again, I recommend a demo of all the buttons. The camera frame is great as well. Russell Fair went with a Premium app for two years. They wanted more features to promote attractions, their Amazing Race and Contests. We created a mockup for them and helped them put together a sponsorship power point deck which they used to pitch to some local real estate developers. This is part of the Premium package which is more expensive but in this case, the sponsors covered the cost for two years!
