To supervise a team around 10 welders and fabricators, i am responsible of all kind of training and development.
· To arrange, monitor and sort out all issues concerning the subordinates, including the work force and supervision
staff in the person of leader and foremen.
· To enforce applications of standards of safety and quality relative to the project requirements and conversant with
the specific standards applicable to the project and area of work.
· To make planning of work, to monitor the task distribution strategy, and to maintain the discipline in all professional
aspects.
· To participate in daily safety committee meetings, to investigate various safety and production related problems and
other relevant issues.
· To participate in Welding Technology Training Sessions.
· Performance of welding tasks on structural and piping components like pipe plate braces, flanges, girders etc.
· Heating, forming and dressing the metal parts, using hand tools, torch or arc welding equipment.
· Maintaining welding parameters such as amps, volts, heat inputs, travel speeds, preheat and maximum inter pass
temperatures.
· Inspection of grooves, angles and gap allowances using micrometre, calliper and other similar precision measuring
instruments.
· Performance visual inspection upon the completion of welding joints.
