3. TV Drama Overview
 When choosing what type of TV
Drama to do it was kind of easy I
just decided to choose the most
appealing one according to my
survey. Then I decided on a topic
which is most relatable to teens and
which would meet the needs of the
audience when trying to engage
them.

4. TV Drama Overview
 My TV Drama is called Who is it? It's a Teen
Drama about a girl who gets drunk, sleeps
with a guy, and becomes pregnant (but can't
remember who she slept with that night).
Throughout the series, there will many
flashbacks from the days leading up to the
night whilst transitioning back to present day
as well. It will also follow the struggles the girl
has to go through whilst taking her exams
pregnant.

5. Character 1 – Anna
 Anna is casually dressed in uniform - her top button is
undone but her tie is done up correctly. She wears jeans
instead of the black trousers the school expects
showing her lack of respect for the school's code. She is
quite a friendly person and is nice to her fellow students
– unless you make an enemy out of her. She can be quite
aggressive when things don't go her way. She hides her
feelings and doesn't talk to anyone about them apart
from her best friend Jess. She lives with her mum - who
was her age when she gave birth to her (and has other
children from various fathers – who she had drunkenly
slept with). She and her half-siblings live on the same
council estate as her best friend Jess.

6. Character 2 – Jess
Jess is casually dressed in uniform - like Anna, her top button is undone
but her tie is done up correctly. She wears jeans instead of the black
trousers the school expects showing her lack of respect for the school's
code.She is quite a friendly person and is nice to her fellow students in
contrast to Anna , Jess is quite quiet shy yet gets along well with Anna
and her friends . Jess is a very timid person and is not very good at
expressing her feelings, yet she is a great listener and is always there for
Anna. She lives with her dad- who was her age when his late wife gave
birth to Jess , she has had various stepmothers who have given birth to
her half siblings too. Her mum died when she was quite young .She and
her half-siblings live on the same council estate as her best friend Anna.

7. Branding
 I want my branding to communicate that this Drama is a teen drama therefore I am going to use product
placement with Coca Cola. I also want to communicate that this happens a lot in real life as well so therefore
to symbolize that despite this being a TV drama this happens a lot in real life. Another key theme I want to
highlight is that getting drunk can be irresponsible as you can't control your actions when you are drunk.
 The first font I am considering using is the Reporter font as seen in home and away as it is quite relaxed and
not too in your face. Another font I am considering using is TJ Evolette A as seen in the poster of We are
Your Friends – Its quite cool and teen like which I could use to my advantage in order to create a distinct
brand image for my TV show. The last font I have thought about is Futura font which is quite a bold font
which potentially could help to develop the deeper meaning within the brand image whilst showing a sort of
fun enjoyable Teen drama.
 The colour scheme I am going to use is going to be mixed with some sections using light/aqua blues whilst
sometimes using more pinks in order to sell the brand image to the wide spectrum of 16-19 year olds whilst
creating a distinctive brand image.
 I will have my brand image around the website whilst advertising the range of merchandise that viewers can
buy. I will also aim to try and promote the interactive app where the viewers can interact with the show more
digitally . My brand image will be seen across the website whilst being distinctive and not over using the
brand image.

8. Initial Ideas for 3-minute opening
 The 3-minute opening that I will produce will provide a clear idea of the narrative of the story indicating through the
dialogue the genre of the TV Drama as my drama will start with 2 characters in the classroom talking about their weekend
where one friend tells the other that she is pregnant – this will help the audience to identify the that the genre is a TV Drama
whilst identifying the storyline is about a girl who gets pregnant but as the narrative continues on past the 1st minute the
whole basis of the narrative becomes clearer . The main characters will be identified through my 3 minute sequence helping
the audience to see who the majority of the main protagonists are as the boy who girl slept with remains the alluring enigma
that is within the series . The main protagonists being the girl anna and her friend jess .
 My opening will engage my audience through the enigma of who the boy she slept with was making the audience almost
crave the knowledge of who this mystery boy that she slept with is . This will ensure that they want to keep watching it as
they will want to finish the series and find out who this mystery boy is as well as see how she copes with her GCSEs whilst
being pregnant .

9. Initial ideas for website
The key features of my website will include a homepage which will introduce the audience to the show and give them an insight to what it is
going to be without giving away any spoilers to what will happen next. It will have a header with a navigation bar where they can access
everything on the website from recent episodes , the shop , latest news about the show and videos to do with the show such as behind the
scenes footage. On the homepage there will be Call to Actions to give the audience the opportunity to read more about the topics from the
latest news. The hero image will be a main image of the 2 characters with the brand image on the side . My main inspirations for my website
are the Hollyoaks website as well as the Love Island website.
I will engage my target audience through creating a lot of website images to
intrigue them. I will have some behind the scenes footage to keep the audience
focused on my TV drama and not let them lose interest.
I will also have information about the app so they can use the features like polls ,
who am I like character surveys , recent episodes and extra footage that they
don't see on the show . I will also contain a bloopers video per week for the
audience. I will also have a link where the audience can get access to our exclusive
merchandise range. The app will also have pictures which they can download as
well. There will also be fact files about the characters giving the audience more
information on the character. There will also be competitions that Coca-Cola will
cooperate with as they are the TV sponsor. There will also be a Coca-Cola advert
on the website so the audience can find out about our partnership with Coca-
Cola.
