Nikolai Yadrentsev presented about his two heroic great-grandfathers who fought in World War II. His great-grandfather Alexey Potemkin joined the partisans when the fascists came to his region and was shot for his connections to the partisans in August 1942. His other great-grandfather Vladimir Dzhigirey fought in the artillery of the 1st Ukrainian Front starting in January 1944, was heavily wounded in Czechoslovakia in April 1945, and was awarded the Medal of Honour in 1944 and the Order of the Patriotic War in 1945 for his courage.
