Carlos, the narrator's baby brother, provides amusement through his antics like hitting himself and screaming at dog commercials on TV, as well as trying to escape his crib despite being unable to walk. The narrator finds Carlos' inability to accomplish tasks like walking or escaping to be very funny, often laughing so much that crying ensues due to Carlos' comedic nature.
