“All works and no play make Jack a dull boy” goes the famous saying. I too enjoy
playing all sorts of games-both indoors as well as outdoors. Among the indoor
games, I enjoy playing carom and chess the most. I also enjoy playing badminton
and table tennis with my friends and cousins.
But the game I like the most is cricket. I not only enjoy playing this game but also
watching it. It is my favorite game. We play cricket in our school also. I am in our
school team and I really enjoy playing for our school. I open innings for our
school’s team.
I like all the aspects of the game-batting, fielding and bowling. I especially like
taking catches and diving to stop the boundaries during fielding. I bowl
sometimes. But it is batting that I enjoy the most. I am also the vice-captain of the
school team. In the last inter-school tournament, our school had grabbed the
trophy and I had contributed 58 runs in my team’s score.
Our coach is very hardworking too. We practice every day from 6AM to 8AM in
the morning and 4PM to 5PM in the evening. We first warm up by taking a few
rounds of our ground, then we do a few stretching and fitness exercises. Then
we practice as per our turns-fielding, batting or bowling.
I also enjoy watching the game whenever there is a live telecast on television.
India is of course my favourite team but I also like watching the Australian and
Srilankan teams. I therefore enjoy watching any match of the Indian team and if
the other team is also one of my favourites, it is like a cherry on the cake.
Recently, I got a chance to watch a live cricket match at the Feroz Shah Kotla
Stadium between India and srilanka. It was a thrilling experience. I enjoyed the

Dhoni, Kaif and Kumble. Sachin Tendulkar is my favorite batsman. But the new
sensation Dhoni too has won the hearts of many people including mine. It was a
great joy to watch my favourite teams pitched up against each other. India had
won in the end, therefore our joy was doubled and we felt our watching the Match

I play many games. They include both outdoor and indoor games. I also like to
play cricket, table tennis and volleyball. But badminton is my favourite game. It is

new ways to trick the opposing players. Playing Basketball is very
entertaining since there are endless ideas you can think of just with a hoop
and a basketball. There are many reasons why I love to play the game of
Basketball but I also love to watch the game also.
Basketball to me is overall the best sport out of all of the other sports such
as baseball, soccer, and football. I also believe out of all these sports
basketball is the best sport to watch on television. Basketball is very fun to
watch on television because when you watch it you can take the moves you
see the professional’s perform and add them to your style of play. I take
many of my moves from professional basketball players and make them my
own because they expand my arsenal of tricks. There are a variety of tricks
the players perform during games it makes the games much more enjoyable
to be watching. My favorite player to watch is Kobe Bryant. He makes
basketball seem as a mere game for little kids. He is an all around athlete is
still going strong at 30 years old. He is a big role model to many kids who
enjoy playing this sport. Kobe can do anything he is a very versatile player
and could get anywhere around the court in a blink of an eye. Bryant is the
definition of all-around in my book. He knows how to play both sides of the
game offense and defense. I look at Kobe Bryant as the ultimate weapon. I
want to play like him as I continue to get better and better every time I play
basketball. Kobe makes the game much more enjoyable to watch because of
