Shaina Rauhauser dreams of becoming a midwife nurse to help mothers give birth and care for newborn babies. She is currently in college studying for four years plus additional training to earn her specialty as a midwife nurse. Shaina finds great joy in her work helping mothers and seeing their happiness with their new infants, and her love for infants will continue even as she enters new experiences each day on the job.

2. There’s something in my interest that I want very much. There’s nothing better than the feeling of a babies touch.

3. Being a nurse is what I plan to be. But a midwife nurse is my specialty.

4. That’s four years of college plus more. It’s something I have to do like a chore.

5. My first job would be helping with the mother. She’s the happiest one like no other.

6. But if all goes well we will hear a cry. And a couple days later we will say goodbye.

7. To see a happy mother with a little boy or girl, is a job well done completed with joy.

8. My work may be hard and it’s not a game, but being a midwife nurse is what I claim.

9. I will enter a whole new world each and every day, But my love for infants will always stay.
