Work Description:
A leading role in IT Network/Systems for Ministry of Electricity and Water, Kuwait in
Construction and Operation & Maintenance of Combined Cycle Gas Power Plant, Sabiya,
Kuwait and CCGT Az Zour Power station, Kuwait. Supervising in installing, configuring and
maintenance of computers, servers, database, network, CCTV, telecommunication and IT
system. Co-ordinated with civil, mechanical, electrical and instrument control & automation
departments.
Projects Undertaken:
Head office of Ministry of Electricity and Water, Kuwait
Al Zour Power Plant CCGT2, Mina al zour, Kuwait. This power plant has the capacity
to generate total power 900MW.
Sabiya Power Plant CCGT, Kuwait. This power plant has the capacity to generate total

 Setup a small Data centre environment.
 Independently installed and configured Microsoft Windows 2003 R2 server for PICS
Application (Project Information Control System) which includes MS SQL server,
Tomcat, EMC Documentum application, Custom developed WebTop application,
Brava Viewer and replication of the PICS SYSTEM.
 Independently installed and configured Ubuntu Linux server 10.10 64-bit as
application server for GLPI IT Help desk & Asset Management Software (ITIL

server by installing and configuring Squid3 proxy using SARG as report generator for
monitoring network traffic.
 Calculated Server room Heat dissipation and generated a report for the same.
