Outstanding Achievements
 Member of the PIOJ Vision 2030 Jamaica ICT and STI Task forces.
 Coordinated the public launch of e-Powering Jamaica 2012.
 Contributed to the Economic & Social Survey –Jamaica 2007 -2012 (PIOJ)
June 2001 – March 2007 Southeast Regional Health Authority
MIS Director
Responsibilities included:
 The development of efficient management information systems to support the
strategic mission of the Regional Health Authority.
 Continuously monitoring technological developments to identify opportunities,
appropriateness and their applicability to support the medium to long-term operations
of the Regional Health Authority Supervising over 20 officers with the region and
monitoring multiple projects
Outstanding Achievements:
 Implementation of Food Handlers’ Permit System (National Health Fund Project for
J$16Million). The system now generates over J$20Million per year. Presented briefing
on the system to the Government of Belize.
 Implementation of a new Human Resource and Payroll System for 5,200 employees
(HRM2001) which saved the Authority over J$2Million in over-time and sessional
payments in one year.
 Negotiated the training of 5,200 employees in Information Technology under the
HEART – EBT program.
December 1999 – May 2001 Southeast Regional Health Authority
Software and Training Administrator
Responsibilities included:
 Install and maintain software acquired for the authority which included MAXIMO
(enterprise asset management system), Patient Administrative System and Expanded
Program of Immunization.
 Routinely perform preventative maintenance tasks on computer network
 Schedule and perform training on an as-needed basis for all groups of users
throughout the authority
 Coding programs in MS Access and MS Excel
Outstanding Achievements:
 Installed the new version of MAXIMO for all four regions as well as at Ministry of Health
(MOH)
 Part of the team that developed and successfully implemented Food Establishment
(FedBase) in the region.
