Why We’re Here...

Elite athletes rely on coaches, sport psychologists and
physical trainers to perform at their best. Business
leaders have long wondered if performance drivers from
sports can be transferred into corporate culture. We
believe they can.
We at MVP are a new breed of these specialists, bringing
a sport-inspired mindset we call “Corporate Athleticism”
to business leadership, teamwork, culture and project
performance.

What Joe Said...

Joe Montana, Co-Founder MVP Performance Institute:
“We possessed an attitude. I call it “the winning spirit”
and it was a big part of our success. How do you find the
winning sprit? Where does it come from?
There is no magic formula. It is about hard work, and it
begins with the way each of us prepares for success on
a daily basis. However, it is a regimen that can be taught
and learned, and it’s both self-perpetuating
and contagious.”
From The Winning Spirit, Sixteen Timeless Principles
                                  that Drive Performance Excellence
                                  Random House 2005

Our Belief...
Years ago we competed on the field; now our game is business. We bring the
same competitive attitude, drive, performance principles and discipline into
our work today.
We measure our success not by effort, but rather by
results. We know that emotion and energy impact
performance. We work in a world governed by time
pressure. We believe it is essential to be honest
about what you face and what’s necessary to win. $
We no longer deal with whistles and colorful uniforms, however attributes like
speed, strength, agility, flexibility and follow-through have different but very
real meaning in business. We help you with fundamentals like preparation &
practice, feedback, playbooks, teamwork, and trust - because they help you win.
The fact is, Corporate Athleticism improves results.

How We Do It...
We first take an honest look at what’s important, what’s working and what’s
getting in the way. We then work side-by-side with you to align your team’s
goals, clearly define roles, deal directly with difficult issues, develop a
playbook of essential actions, focus on elements of success and failure, keep
score, and create a culture of performance that we call the “winning
spirit”.
