3. IntroductIon
I used a lot If programs and equIpment that I was
famIlIar wIth how ever there were a few that were
new to me.
I used a wIde range of technology to help assIst
wIth my plannIng, evaluatIon and constructIon.
5. Apple Mac
The apple Mac hardware was difficult to use at first
as I am used to using windows computers, but
this hardware soon become easy to use as It
was using It mostly to help me edit my video and
help make my ancillary text. The reason why I
found this difficult to use was because It was
much more versatile to use then windows as It
allowed me to access many folders at once this
made It easier to locate files that I need to use to
make my ancillary text.
7. prezi
The main reasons why I used prezi Its because this
software’s Is mainly used to make presentations and
show them, which made It Ideal for me to present
my work like artist studies and to show PowerPoint.
Although prezi had extra features then other
presentation software unlike Microsoft PowerPoint
prezi allowed me to zoom In and out to analysis
spaces, It Is easy to embed videos from you-tube
straight to prezi. Whereas Microsoft PowerPoint Is
easier to use then prezi and better to make simple
presentations on.
8. Imovie
overall I used Imovie to edit my video clips as It Is
good software to use for this purpose as It has a
more friendly Interface which makes It less
complicated to use then other software for
example final cut. Although It did not have many
technical feature to use for example some editing
software allows us to create a split screen shots
to give our text more of a effect on the audience.
IMovie Is much less time consuming and has
fewer complications which made It the most
efficient software for me to use as I had short
deadlines to meet.
9. Photoshop
I used Photoshop for most of my ancillary text as I
created the cod case and advert on this software
at first I found It complicated at It had many
features to edit and manipulate pictures, this
made It difficult for me to grasp but after using
this software more then once I started to feel
comfortable with most of the basic editing
features and some of the more advance editing
features, by the end of making the ancillary text I
felt fully confident to use this software again.
