2. 1.WHAT IS A MUSIC MAGAZINE?
A music magazine is a magazine focusing on music culture. It can introduce
new bands. Its target audience are people interested in certain music genre.

3. 2.WHAT CONTENT
(TEXT/COPY/WRITING/ARTICLES/STORIES) WOULD YOU
EXPECT TO FIND IN A MUSIC MAGAZINE?
In a music magazine you could find charts for example list of 10 most radio
requested songs certain months and latest released albums list. You could also
expect interviews with artists and bands as well as photo shots. Other content
would be record or concert reviews, posters and music awards reviews. It can
occasionally have a covermount with recorded music.

4. 3. WHAT IMAGES WOULD YOU
EXPECT TO FIND IN A MUSIC
MAGAZINE?
In a music magazine I would expect to find images of artists and bands. You
could also expect albums and CD covers or music video snap shots. It can also
have pictures of instruments appropriate for music genre. Merchandise can be
found in music magazine as well.

5. 4.IDENTIFY GENERAL
CHARACTERISTICS/FEATURES THAT YOU WOULD
EXPECT TO FIND IN ALL MUSIC MAGAZINES
In music magazines we can expect the same characteristics we see in other
magazines that follow codes and conventions. Music magazine would have a
masthead which is a magazine title on the top of a page and main image of an
artist or a band related to specific music genre. It would also have cover lines
linked to music related articles. Other features would be pugs and puffs,
barcode, price and dateline, strapline or skyline telling you about areas and
topics the magazine covers and a main cover line linked to main article. Music
magazines usually have continuous colour scheme.
