This document provides an overview of wound healing, its functions, stages, mechanisms, factors affecting it, and complications.
A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.

Music magazine front cover development
- 1. Music Magazine front cover Development.
- 2. I started construction on my Front cover by adding a border around the picture; I also edited the picture so that everything was black and white apart from the record labels. Stage 1
- 3. Stage 2 I then developed the front cover by adding a barcode in the bottom left and above that the price of the magazine as well as the date. I also made the record labels stand out more by editing them to look more vibrant then they had been. Lastly I changed the colour of the border from black and white to blue and black, this was to make the border stand out more, due to it matching too much with the black and white picture..
- 4. Stage 3 The next stage saw me make the border smaller than it had been, this was to give more room for the picture, and so there would be more room on the cover for when I added the cover lines. I also made the barcode smaller as it had been much too big before.
- 5. Stage 4 Stage 4 of my magazine was where it changed the most, this was because of the hot desking I done, which primarily told me that this new picture was better than the last one, this was because it represented the music magazine feel more due to the guitar, it also distracted less, as the last picture had the bright colours from the record labels. I also changed the Masthead, this was mainly because it represented the genre (Two-Tone) better and because the old masthead ran along the whole top of the page which would have covered the head on the picture, therefore I made anew masthead which took up less room. Due to the feedback I also moved the price to the side of the barcode as before it was sticking out.
- 6. Stage 5 At this point I started to add the cover lines along with the main cover line to the front cover, I also switched the barcode to the other side of the magazine so that I could put a puff on the right hand side, this also made the writing inside it yellow to help it stand out from the black and white picture, and the blue border and text. I also made the barcode smaller as it has still been to big before and I needed room to add more cover lines unto0 the magazine. Because I moved the barcode I also had to move the price, date and issue number, however as I needed the space above the barcode for cover lines I added the price, date and issue number below the masthead.
- 7. Stage 6 This is the final stage of my Front cover, on the final stage I touched up any mistakes I had made, the cover lines have been added to the left hand side, I gave them white and black backgrounds to help the grey cover lines stand out from the grey background. I also added more information to the main cover line which gives the audience a bigger picture as to what the interview is about. I also changed the colour of the price, date and issue number from blue to black, this was purely to make the text stand out more as the blue writing before it had been difficult to read.
