Highlight a specific project/accomplishment:
The new hourly check process at the CMI Press is a significant
improvement because it allows us to detect and quarantine problems
early, resulting in significantly decreased scrap and rework.
Something new I learned in this role:
When trying to make a change or improvement, one of the most
important things is to clarify your vision and make sure everyone
understands your goals and intentions.
Favorite thing about my role:
Gaining experience in many different things (cost analysis, leadership,
process improvement, root cause analysis, safety auditing, time study)
while still being able delve deeply into one specific focus (scrap).
