3. Literature Review
• This technology is date from the time of the GREEK, native Americas &
Chinese, who warmed their buildings orienting them toward the sun.
• Solar power is more specifically to refer to the conversion of sunlight in to
electricity.
• Solar photovoltaic provided 0.04% of the world’s energy usage in 2004.
• Earth receives 174 petawatts of incoming solar radiation (insulation) at the
upper atmosphere at any given time, where 6% of insulation is reflected
and 16% is absorbed.
4. Introduction
• Using renewable, non conventional sources of
energy(solar).
• This project emphasize on the spraying of pesticide using
solar power as energy. It can be used at various location.
• In this project we have to used the technique of operating
the motor used for spraying using solar panels.
• In the model an assembly of solar, battery, manual
operated
5. • Spraying of pesticides is an important task in agriculture for protecting the crops
from insects.
• Farmers mainly use hand operated or fuel operated spray pump for this task.
• There is need for development of an effective spraying method for increasing
productivity levels.
• This motivated us to design and fabricate a model that is basically eco-friendly
based solar sprayer.
• Here we can eliminate the back mounting of sprayer ergonomically and there will
be elimination of engine of fuel operated spray pump by which there will be
reduction in vibrations and noise
