Caven and Caren were playing outside when their mother called them in to help with chores in the kitchen. Their mother asked them to sort cups into boxes, with 3 cups per box, to determine how many boxes were needed. Working together, they determined that 4 boxes were needed. Their mother then gave them multiplication problems to solve involving spoons, forks, and baskets to practice their multiplication skills. In appreciation for their help, Caven and Caren planned to practice and memorize their multiplication tables.
