Mulchfest 2008 Wrap Up

Mulchfest 2008 was held on January 5-6, 2008 across New York City parks. Over 13,000 trees were mulched, a 14% increase from 2007. The event was covered by major media outlets and provided New Yorkers a free way to recycle their Christmas trees. Various city agencies, radio stations, and companies supported the event through promotions, donations, and volunteers to help make Mulchfest a success.
