rather ironic as MTV was the first channel dedicated to music videos, it did
impact the amount of radio listeners. It changed the way people thought
about stars and now you had to sound good but LOOK good too.

It was first launched in America and at the time was basic cable and satellite
TV channel part of the Viacom Media Networks. The channel is head
quartered in NYC. The channel was hosted by ‘Video Jockeys’ instead of Disk
Jockeys.

artist is influenced heavily by people in the pop genre such as Taylor Swift and
Selena Gomez. I aim for the same target audience as MTV so all my
iconography in the music video would be the same as other artists featured.
