Sheri Williams, Chairperson & Co-Founder
With over 25 years of experience in Nigeria’s financial and telecommunications sector,
Ms. Williams has held board positions with multiple companies, including UBA Trustees,
First Security Discount House (FSDH) and True Tales (publishers of Hints Magazine). She
is the former Managing Director of United Telesys and CTIC.
Ms. Williams began her IT career as a software developer with Rank Xerox then
transitioned to the financial services sector with ICON Merchant bank. She holds a
bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Manchester University and an MBA from
Imperial College (UK). She is also civically active and is currently president of the Lagos
Chapter of Edo Ladies.
Mr. Lateef Belo-Osagie, Director & Co-Founder
Mr. Belo-Osagie is Chairman of Hackett Nigeria Limited, a telecommunications
equipment and parts supplier to mobile operators in Africa. He is former Managing
Director of Quartz Petroleum, and previously worked as a banker with Banque BNP
Paribas and NIB (now Citibank Nigeria).
With a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics, Mr. Belo-
Osagie has also obtained post-graduate diplomas from the University de Paris-Sorbonne
and College of Petroleum and Energy Studies at Oxford University.

21. Mr. Chris Ubosi, Director and Co-Founder
Mr. Ubosi has more than 15 years of experience initiating and managing new ventures in media,
broadcasting and telecommunications. He has been an Executive Director at Steam
Broadcasting since 1997, where he was responsible for Nigeria’s leading radio station, CoolFM.
He has also led the implementation of CoolLink, a leading internet service provider and
CoolTalk, a prepaid calling card service. Mr. Ubosi has also consulted in the establishment of
several West African radio stations, and is the founder of Nigeria’s Megaelectrics Limited, which
operates Beat 99.9 FM, Classic FM 97.3 and Naija FM 102.7. He is currently a consultant for the
Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria.
Mr. Ubosi has a bachelor’s degree in Surveying from the University of Ife, a master’s degree in
Project Management from the University of Lagos, and a diploma in International Oil Supply,
Transportation, Refining and Trading, College of Petroleum and Energy Studies from Oxford
University. Since 2004, he has served on the Federal Government Committee tasked with
implementing a national mass communication policy.
Kiprono Kittony, Chairman – Mtech Kenya
Mr. Kittony is the Chairman of Radio Africa Limited, the fastest, growing Media
Company in Kenya with several radio stations including the market leaders Kiss FM and
Classic 105, as well as a national daily – The Star and Kiss TV. Mr. Kittony is also the
Managing Director of Capital Realtime Limited.
He is a Board member of Media Council of Kenya and is the vice Chairman of Media
Owners Association, a Board member of KEPSA (Kenya Private Sector Association) as
well as Betting Control & Licensing Board.
He also serves as the National Chairman of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce
& Industry where he successfully led an initiative to revive the organization and
transform it into a powerful trade lobby championing the interests of business people
in Keya. He is also a Director of several other companies.

William K. Chesire, CEO – Mtech East and Central Africa
William has vast experience in the telecommunications industry and has been with Mtech since 2009.
Prior to joining Mtech, William was the General Manager of Sovereign Communications limited a telecommunications distribution company.
William was the General Manager at Longleat Holdings Limited he managed the company’s equity portfolio at the Nairobi Stock exchange and was also responsible for rolling out the
international Mpesa pilot through Provident Capital Transfers for the Kenya – London corridor and Global Vision Telecom, a local loop operator in Kenya.
William was also involved in setting up Beltone Limited, the Safaricom dealers association investment company in 2005.
William has been involved in many startups and his area of expertise is Business Development.
