14. The training time on
your certificate must
add up to at least 24
hours.
This includes both
classroom and “On The
Job” training. What is “On
The Job Training”?

your records. Make several
copies for your company’s
records.
Step 10: Record Keeping
25. If you are a contractor, I
recommend you make a copy
and keep it in your truck.This
is helpful if MSHA asks for
proof of training.
