Fun Activities
So what’s there to do at Camp Cherith in the fall?
Tons! The autumn colors are so amazing that a nature walk or pontoon boat
ride is a virtual must. Try your hand at archery, create a craft, visit gift shops in nearby Vergas, play
games, kick back and read a book, how about a chair massage, or a trail ride? There will be no cook-
ing, cleaning, chores, or homework. Just time to spend with your mom or daughter (or niece or grand-
ma or sister or friend) and let the weekend unfold.
Building Connections
Camp Cherith values the parent-child relationship. That’s why we warmly welcome parent volunteers
at our summer camps, and that’s why we offer our very special Mother/Daughter Weekend.
A weekend together at Cherith can strengthen an adult-child (or teen) bond in ways that few experi-
ences in daily life can. It’s also an incredible opportunity to connect with God through worship in a
tranquil, natural setting that proclaims the wonder of his creation.

WHERE: Aprox. 4 hours northwest of the Twin Cities near Detroit Lakes

COST: $135.00 per twosome; $50 each additional person
(minimum age is 6 years)
Optional additional $10.00 per person for a trail ride if you desire

Bible Flashlight Pillow
Sleeping bag (or sheets and blankets)
Towel and toiletries Pajamas Space Heater (optional)
Comfortable shoes Casual clothes for fall weather
REMEMBER: This is early fall in MN and our cabins are not heated.
