1. Mother
Mother is the vessel that carries us into life.
Mother is the food in which we eat in the first stages of our
life.
Mother is the medicine we need when we are sick.
Mother is the comfort we need when we are sad.
Mother is our defender in scary moments.
Mother gives us encouragement when we are nervous.
Mother has endless love when we feel left out.
Mother offers piece of mind when we are anxious.
I am certain that my Mother, and that every Mother
instinctively knows what to do when their children need them.
I can only talk about my Mother because I know her and know
just how special she is. When a Mother leaves us does this
mean that she is no longer special?
No, because now a Mother can watch over all of her children
at all times. I cherish my Mother now in Heaven and will
admire and respect all Mother’s still with us.
I love my Mother and I know her love is still with me and my
siblings. I honor her now just as I always have. I want to wish
a Happy Mother’s Day to my Mom and to all mothers.
