But on this night, he took an opportunity during his acceptance speech to let the world know what really matters to him: the world’s climate. Aligning right with the Untied Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal #13, Climate Action. “Climate change is real. It is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat affecting our entire species. We need to support leaders around the world… who speak for all of humanity, and not those focused on greed… Let us not take this planet for granted.” With a world stage of who knows how many millions of people eagerly waiting all night for this moment, Leo was proud to step up to the podium and talk about what he was passionate about. And everything he said is probably right, down to a T.
