1. Dear Parents ,
My name is Hadeel El Sayed and I would like to welcome your child to
my class at the beginning of this exciting new academic year. I am so
excited to teach your child Arabic ,Islamic studies(for Muslims ) and
Qatar History .
About me !
I am originally Egyptian but I was born in
Saudi Arabia and studied in (KSA, England and Egypt ) ,
I have a bachelors degree of Education and science and I have 12 years
experience in teaching most of them are teaching the Non- Arabic
speakers
This is my 5th year in QA Sidra and I am honored to be your child’s
teacher and am looking forward to working with you and your child
reaching the full potential .We will have many wonderful experiences
and opportunities to learn and grow in the days ahead
Curriculums followed this year :
Your child will be learning Arabic as a functional language to use it for
communication and the curriculums mostly will be integrated with the
PYP inquiry units .
For the Islamic studies we will be following I love Islam curriculum and
for Qatar history we will be following MOE curriculum as it’s the same
for the Arabic native speakers .
Homework
Each week students will bring home a "homework folder" which they will
have activities to complete, so kindly read the weekly letter so you can
help your child to complete his/her homework I know its in Arabic but
sometimes there will be a guide to help .

Communication
Communication is essential and I believe that it’s the key to a great
parent –teacher relationship I will be sending home weekly letters
about what we are doing in school.

Folders/binders
Your child will have 3 folders
" (Arabic /Blue) will be hand out on Sunday’s for homework by date
and should be back on Thursday’s.
" (Islamic for Muslims /Red) will be hand out every Mondays and
should be back on the next Sundays
" (Qatar History /Green) will be hand out every month or every unit .
