 Due to thorough inspiration from the opening sequence
of ‘Se7en’ we have decided to create an opening sequence
for a psychological thriller. To do this, we will include a
series of close-ups, fast cuts and use of mise-en-scene
elements such as blood and documents in low-key
lighting (similar to se7en). All of these features will
complement each other and thus create an ominous and
eerie/suspicious vibe amongst the audience. However,
the opening sequence will not give away too much. We
aim to be vague in order for the audience to want to
know more and therefore look forward to watching the
movie in the hypothetical situation that it were to exist…
