We will demonstrate how easy it is to use the Google Vision API to gain additional insights from a batch of photos that have no prior metadata attached. By using this workflow, we will be able to quickly build a descriptive metadata database that can be leveraged for a variety of business use-cases.

We will explore some of the AI capabilities present on GCP that are making Machine Learning accessible to any developer: from recognizing what’s inside an image to understand what your users are saying and how they feel about it and answering their questions.
Microsoft is working hard to make Artificial Intelligence available to everyone. We not only infuse AI in our products but also give you the platform to build your very own solution, that you are a developer, a citizen data scientist or a hard core data scientist.
SharePoint Saturday Warsaw - Conversational AI applications in Microsoft TeamsThomas Gölles
While every team is unique, one thing that is consistent is that every team will need a variety of apps and tools to get their work done. Since there is no such thing as a universal tool for work, the extensibility of the Teams platform delivers a universal hub for teamwork to infuse all those tools, together.
This session will guide you through the development lifecycle of a chatbot built for Microsoft Teams to enrich your collaboration and communication experience. Basic design guidelines paired with working examples and real-world demos will help you understand the principles of designing conversational AI apps that fit into your hub for teamwork. Expect a lot of ideas, concepts and demos and less code.
Enabling Digital Transformation Amidst a Global Pandemic | Low-Code, Cloud, A...Nuxeo
In today’s world, where many businesses are struggling to simply survive COVID-19, some companies are thriving in this environment and accelerating their digital strategies, not by necessity, but as an opportunity to seize competitive advantage.
In this webinar, we will explore how modern content platforms play a key role in enabling digital transformation and how new trends and capabilities — like Cloud, Low-Code and Artificial Intelligence — are enabling some of today’s largest enterprises to accelerate their transformation initiatives. Our webinar will feature two different case studies where leading enterprises are leveraging these technologies as the digital foundation for their future businesses.
In this webinar, you will learn:
- How modern content platforms are tearing down information silos to deliver data and content when, where, and how it is needed
- How modern content platforms take unique advantage of cloud infrastructures
- Why low-code application development is critical to business agility
- What AI capabilities are available today that are completely transforming how customers work with data and content
- How a large US insurer is using Nuxeo, Guidewire, and Smart Communications, all on AWS, to modernize their claims architecture
- And, how a $13B global apparel company is using Nuxeo and its Insight service (AI/ML) to institute a wholly digital supply chain

No Code AI - How to Deploy Machine Learning Models with Zero Code?Skyl.ai
In the past, getting insights from the data using machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) required experts with coding skills and knowledge of math & statistics.
The scarcity of talent and huge infrastructure set up cost, often makes it difficult for organizations to get early results from their Machine Learning initiatives. Through this webinar, we will learn how 'No Code AI' tools make it possible to leverage the power of machine learning without needing to code. It is helping business analysts, domain experts, and business decision-makers to experiment and get started with quick-win Machine Learning projects.
What you will learn:
- Traditional vs No Code AI Process
- Best practices to accelerate machine learning adoption
- Demo: How organizations are deploying machine learning models without coding expertise within hours, not weeks

MongoDB SoCal 2020: Best Practices for Working with IoT and Time-series DataMongoDB
Time series data is increasingly at the heart of modern applications - think IoT, stock trading, clickstreams, social media, and more. With the move from batch to real time systems, the efficient capture and analysis of time series data can enable organizations to better detect and respond to events ahead of their competitors or to improve operational efficiency to reduce cost and risk. Working with time series data is often different from regular application data, and there are best practices you should observe.
This talk covers:
Common components of an IoT solution
The challenges involved with managing time-series data in IoT applications
Different schema designs, and how these affect memory and disk utilization – two critical factors in application performance.
How to query, analyze and present IoT time-series data using MongoDB Compass and MongoDB Charts
At the end of the session, you will have a better understanding of key best practices in managing IoT time-series data with MongoDB.

MongoDB .local San Francisco 2020: Powering the new age data demands [Infosys]MongoDB
Our clients have unique use cases and data patterns that mandate the choice of a particular strategy. In this session, we will talk about some of our client use cases, the strategies we have adopted, and the features of MongoDB that assisted in implementing these strategies.
MongoDB .local San Francisco 2020: Using Client Side Encryption in MongoDB 4.2MongoDB
Encryption is not a new concept to MongoDB. Encryption may occur in-transit (with TLS) and at-rest (with the encrypted storage engine). But MongoDB 4.2 introduces support for Client Side Encryption, ensuring the most sensitive data is encrypted before ever leaving the client application. Even full access to your MongoDB servers is not enough to decrypt this data. And better yet, Client Side Encryption can be enabled at the "flick of a switch".
This session covers using Client Side Encryption in your applications. This includes the necessary setup, how to encrypt data without sacrificing queryability, and what trade-offs to expect.

When you need to model data, is your first instinct to start breaking it down into rows and columns? Mine used to be too. When you want to develop apps in a modern, agile way, NoSQL databases can be the best option. Come to this talk to learn how to take advantage of all that NoSQL databases have to offer and discover the benefits of changing your mindset from the legacy, tabular way of modeling data. We’ll compare and contrast the terms and concepts in SQL databases and MongoDB, explain the benefits of using MongoDB compared to SQL databases, and walk through data modeling basics so you feel confident as you begin using MongoDB.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.
