The CARP is based on Republic Act 6657

implemented the (CARPer), in 2009.

It is application of techniques to control the growth and
harvesting of animal and vegetable products. One of
the example genetically modified organisms (GMO). A
GMO is an organism whose genetic material is
altered in order to increase its immunity against pests,
bad weather, and diseases.
