This module teaches participants how to evaluate websites for use in EFL classrooms. It discusses exploring the integrity, operational, and pedagogical aspects of websites. Participants work in groups to evaluate websites based on these criteria. They analyze the target learner audience and create an evaluation template to write a formal evaluation of one chosen website. The evaluation is posted online and comments are left on other groups' evaluations. The goal is to provide a framework for carefully selecting high-quality websites appropriate for language learning.
